i built something for you
introducing The Member Hub: an ever-growing library of resources, tools, and templates to help you on your fitness journey.
If you told me ten years ago that I’d be the person who actually enjoys going to the gym, who even looks forward to it, I would’ve laughed in your face. But here we are: writing a publication about fitness, training for my personal trainer certification, and in better shape than I was in my twenties (FYI, I’m 43 now).
The reason I’m telling you this is because for a long time, none of it worked. I tried every program, every diet, every “just eat less and move more” piece of advice you can imagine, and none of it stuck. Not because I wasn’t trying hard enough, but because I was chasing the wrong things for the wrong reasons. It took years of trial and error, and a fair amount of wasted time and money, before I found the strategies that actually worked. And by “worked,” I don’t just mean physically. Yes, my body changed. But what changed more was how I saw strength training altogether: not as a punishment for what I ate, or a countdown to some ideal body, but as something I got to do for myself, that made me stronger, sharper, and more at home in my own skin.
Since I started this newsletter, I’ve wanted to build something beyond the articles. Something that goes further than a Sunday read. Because I know how it feels to stand in the middle of all the fitness information out there today, contradictory studies, fifteen different opinions on the same topic, and have no idea where to start. I’ve been there. I spent years piecing things together from forums, Instagram reels, and trial and error, when what I actually needed was a clear, structured place to begin. That’s what I wanted to build for you.
I’ve been sitting on this for months, turning it over in my mind, refining it, getting it just right. And now I’m finally ready to share it with you:
Introducing The Member Hub: an ever-growing library of resources, tools, and templates to help you on your fitness journey. Think tools, not articles. In-depth guides on training, nutrition, and routines, with frameworks and step-by-step breakdowns you can actually use.
here’s what’s already available and what’s coming next in 2026
✅ available:
📅 coming soon:
July - How to train anywhere (a no-gym, travel-proof strength routine)
August - Eat like a gym girl
September - Dumbbell only beginners 4-week program
October - How to set up your caloric deficit (the cutting guide)
November - 8-Week framework to transform your mindset around training and nutrition
December - How to eat around the holidays without losing your gains or your mind
Important note: I’m sticking to one drop a month, on purpose. I want to put real care into each one, not pump out filler just to have something to send.
what this means for you
The Member Hub is exclusively for paid subscribers.
Every month, you’ll get a new post with a resource download link. The idea is simple: help you build your own library of resources you can actually return to, instead of saving the same ten articles over and over and never doing anything with them.
All the resources will live in one place, in the archives of this publication (including this post), under “The Member Hub” so you can find everything easily the moment you land on the never not hungry homepage.
final thoughts
When I started publishing never not hungry nine months ago, I honestly had no idea if anyone would want to read what I had to say. I wrote because I couldn’t keep all the burning, passionate ideas inside me any longer. The fact that there are so many of you here now, reading, sharing, and writing to me about how these ideas have changed the way you think about strength training, nutrition, and your health, means more than I can put into words.
I’m very aware of paywall fatigue on Substack. I feel it too. That’s exactly why I took so long to make the leap and launch this project. I hope it helps you cut through the noise, stop restarting from zero every time life gets in the way, and actually build the kind of strength, in your body and in your head, that sticks.
Thank you for your support, for reading, commenting, and sharing my work. It means a lot ❤️
See you in the next post,
— Glicia
about the author
I'm Glicia, a Paris-based photographer, soon-to-be certified trainer, and the person behind never not hungry. Through my own experiences, I write about lifting and about unlearning the idea that fitness has to be complicated. You can also expect personal essays from time to time, and a bit of behind the scenes from my little life in Paris. When I’m not writing, I’m photographing my beautiful clients, reading romantasy, or lifting heavy things. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I hope you’ll stay.
